Also packed with such unnatural risky styles which was really cost lot of guts.

Namun diam-diam mempunyai sesuatu yang tergetar. “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” yang diangkat dari novel “Girl with a Pearl Earring” karangan Tracy Chevalier, bercerita tentang kehidupan pelukis Belanda (tokoh nyata) Johanes Vermeer. Judul film ini, “Girl with a Pearl Earring,” diambil dari judul salah satu lukisan terkenal Johanes Vermeer.

Film ini merupakan adaptasi dari cerpen “Killings” Andre Dubus.

TEMA utama film ini adalah “dendam”. Tapi jangan kira darah segar bakal bersemburat-semburat tiada henti di film bertema dendam ini. Ketimbang menyajikan gore porn, film ini lebih memampangkan proses psikologis bagaiman sebuah tragedi bisa memberikan tekanan pada orang yang bersangkutan lalu akhirnya menghasilkan produk berupa dendam. Karena itu pendekatan yang dipraktekan di film ini berupa realisme yang cukup kental. Layaknya film-film realisme umumnya, alur film ini pun cukup pelan.
